Cholesterol, a waxy substance produced by the liver and found in certain foods is needed to make vitamin D and some hormones, build cell walls, and creates bile salts that help you digest fat. Actually, your liver produces about 1,000 milligrams of cholesterol a day, enough cholesterol so that if you never touched another fatty food, you would be ok. But it's hard to avoid cholesterol entirely because so many foods contain it.
Lipids are fats that are found throughout the body. Cholesterol, a type of lipid, is found in foods from animal sources. This means that eggs, meats, and whole-fat dairy products (including milk, cheese and ice cream) are loaded with cholesterol while vegetables, fruits and grains contain none.
Too much cholesterol in the body can seriously threaten your overall health and certain organs in the body: the heart, liver, kidneys, joints, knees and hips are suffering as well. Many factors can contribute to high cholesterol, but the good news is there are things you can do to control them.
Ingredients needed:
- 1 lemon
- 60 grams of parsley
- 35cl of water
First, squeeze the lemon in order to gain its juice and then chop the parsley into small pieces. Put both ingredients in a bowl and pour the water over them. Cover and keep the liquid in the fridge.
Way of consuming:
Consume this beverage on an empty stomach for 5 days straight. After that, make a 10-day break and consume everyday. If needed, repeat the whole procedure.
This beverage accelerates the fat burning process and it provides vitamins and minerals to the entire organs. Parsley improves the digestion process and stimulates the organs to eject fluids, thus eliminates flatulence.
