Nigerian Woman Kills Cheating Husband In The U.S.

A 35-year-old Nigerian woman has been charged with killing her husband, who she claimed abused and cheated on her with several women including her sister and their nanny’s daughter.

Temitope Adebamiro’s husband, 37-year-old Adeyinka Adebamiro, was found stabbed in a first-floor spare bedroom of the couple’s home in the 1300 block of Healy Court early Thursday, according to court documents obtained by The News Journal.

Police were called to the home at about 12:40 a.m. for an unknown problem only for arriving officers to find Adeyinka Adebamiro unconscious with a stab wound to the upper body. Paramedics
pronounced him dead at 1:37 a.m.

The victim, his wife, Temitope Adebamiro and their two children and nanny had been living at the home for the past two years.

Officers took residents of the home – including Temitope, who was wearing blood-stained clothing to the Cpl. Paul J. Sweeney Public Safety Building near New Castle.

According to police and documents, the two had been married for more than 10 years, during which time she told investigators that he’d physically abused her, even while pregnant with their two children.

She also told investigators her husband had been cheating on her with various women, including her own sister and the nanny’s daughter, papers said. The papers, however, did not say how old the nanny’s daughter was.

Temitope also told investigators her husband had sent her to Nigeria for several months. After returning in December, she had to stay in a hotel near the Philadelphia airport for four days because her husband refused to let her into their Red Lion home.

He then paid for her to fly back to Nigeria for a few more months. About this time, she learned that her husband had spent Christmas with the nanny’s daughter.

The husband later flew out to Nigeria and flew back with her to Philadelphia. As he showed her the cameras inside their home over his cellphone, Temitope saw the nanny’s daughter inside the home.

At one point, Temitope saw several texts and images in her husband’s phone, which she took pictures of using her cellphone. Some of the pictures included images of her sister and the nanny’s daughter. The documents do not detail the images beyond that.

As the investigation drew to the night before the killing, police learned the couple had been talking and watching television on the couch about 9 p.m. Wednesday. Temitope and her husband began arguing after he discovered the photos she’d taken on her cellphone and he began erasing them.

As he yelled at her, Temitope told police there was a power outage at which time she went to the kitchen until power returned.

Temitope then told police that when the power returned, she found her husband in the first-floor bedroom lying in the bed. As she got closer to him, she saw a knife on the ground which she picked up and took to the kitchen. according to documents.

As she put it away, she noticed blood on the tip and that’s when she realized that he was stabbed, the papers said.

While not admitting to the killing, the court papers claim Temitope changed her story several times about what happened in the bedroom, including to say that she entered first and her husband followed her in with the knife but that he later dropped it.

Temitope suggested that her husband stabbed himself, according to the papers. The autopsy, according to the papers, said the homicide was a single stab wound just below the victim’s neck, about 2 inches off the center line. The stab was 4 inches deep and severed the victim’s carotid artery and jugular vein.

When police told Temitope that this was not a suicide, the woman “began nodding her head in agreement,” according to court documents. Investigators also checked with Delmarva Power, which indicated no such power outage occurred at that time, police said.

Temitope was charged with first-degree murder and other charges. She was arraigned and committed to the Baylor Women’s Correctional Institution where she is being held without bail.

Guy Brutally Stabs Neighbour To Death in Lagos

For 30-year-old Nweke Chinonso, the tragic events of Sunday, April 19, 2015, could as well be the handiwork of a spiritual influence or force beyond his control. According to what he told newsmen while trying to explain how and why he stabbed his neighbour to death, Chinonso, an Imo State indigene said he should be seen as the victim of a supernatural force that took control of him.

“I do not know the spirit that got inside me that day,” he began.

Chinonso, who is being held at the Department of Criminal Investigations, Yaba, Lagos, told PUNCH that he only sat in the front of his house to relax that Sunday morning when the deceased and another neighbour came to trouble him.

“I no longer go to church,” he said. “I was relaxing in the front of my apartment at 100, Mba Street, Ajegunle, when my neighbours, Ismail and Kunle (Abiola), told me to join them where they were sitting. I told them I would not and they started to foment trouble.

I did not want to associate with them because I don’t speak their language and I can’t trust them. But while they were troubling me where I sat, Ismail pinned my arms behind me and Kunle slapped me.

Immediately he slapped me, I could not control myself anymore, it was like I was on remote control as a spirit pushed me to go and take a kitchen knife. I rushed in and took the knife, came back outside and stabbed Kunle.”
The deceased was stabbed twice – in the chest and jaw. As incredible as Chinonso’s claim sounded, he swore he was telling the truth. He explained though, that Abiola had in the past slapped him for no concrete reasons.

“There was even a time I went to a drinking joint in our area and saw him (Abiola) there. As soon as I sat down, he came over and challenged me for coming to the same joint where he drank. He slapped me right there and I could not do anything,” Chinonso said.
Asked if there were other issues that could warrant the alleged harassment he was suffering in the hands of the deceased, Chinonso told Saturday PUNCH, there had never been any issue between them.

As soon as Chinonso stabbed Abiola, he slumped and was rushed to the hospital as blood gushed from his chest and jaw.

Residents instantly restrained Chinonso, tied him up and beat him as police were alerted to the incident. Abiola was pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital

However, residents who spoke with PUNCH said Chinonso’s version of the story was all lies. A resident, Saheed Adebisi, said the incident started when a fight broke out between Ismail and Chinonso but Abiola only attempted to separate them when he was stabbed.

“Chinonso stabbed him because he believed that Abiola was on the side of Ismail,” he said.

The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Kenneth Nwosu, who confirmed the incident, said investigation was still ongoing and that the suspect would be charged to court when it was completed.

Joke Of The Day

Here comes today's joke of the day.....laugh away your sorrow.

A man was having premature ejaculation problems so he went to the doctor.
The doctor said, "When you feel like you are getting ready to ejaculate, try startling yourself."
That same day the man went to the store and bought himself a starter pistol and ran home to his wife.
That night the two were having sex and found themselves in the 69 position.
The man felt the urge to ejaculate and fired the starter pistol.
The next day he went back to the doctor who asked how it went. The man answered, "Not well.
When I fired the pistol, my wife pooped on my face, bit three inches off my penis, and my neighbor came out of the closet with his hands in the air."

7 Prison Inmates Regain Freedom, 11 Others Granted Bail In Kogi

No fewer than 7 prison inmates have been granted unconditional release, while 11 others were released on bail by the Kogi State Chief Judge, Justice Nasiru Ajanah as part of efforts to decongest Nigeria Prisons.

The lucky inmates who breathed the air of freedom have been incarcerated for over five months and are facing criminal trials at the various courts in the state, but had their cases reviewed by the State Chief Judge during this year’s annual prison visit to decongest Koton- Karfe Federal prison in Kogi state yesterday.

In a related development, another set of 11 Prison inmates were also granted conditional bail with costs ranging from N5,000, N10,000and N25,000 with sureties pending the outcome of investigation of their culpability of various offences charged against then after case files were reviewed.

In some cases, it was learnt that the facts are not corresponding with the First Information Report FIR or the Charge sheet brought before the courts, thereby creating a lot of confusion and stalling the smooth trials for over five or six months without taking accused persons to Court.

While reviewing 105 case files of inmates, Justice Ajanah explained that presumption of innocence of an accused person must always be taken into consideration in administration of criminal justice until contrary is proven, adding that accused person should not be detained more than necessary as investigations must be completed before accused persons are charged to courts.

The Chief Judge stated that Prison visit is not just a visit to decongest alone , stressing that it is aimed at looking at the condition and the welfare of the inmates there.

Prince, Three Others Nabbed For Robbing Commercial Motorcyclists

Four men are in the custody of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, Lagos State Police Command, for allegedly waylaying and robbing commercial motorcycle riders in Lagos state.

The four men identified as Emmanuel Olutade, Lukman Tiamiyu and Wasiu Sikiru and Oladimeji Orisan were arrested after the SARS operatives laid ambush for them in their hideout at Ishawo area of Lagos state following complaints to the Lagos State Commissioner of Police Mr. Kayode Aderanti that a gang was snatching motorcycles and money from riders at gunpoint in the area . Following the arrest of the suspects, it was discovered to the shock of the residents that the gang leader is the son of a traditional ruler of Ishawo, Olademeji, a 24 year old man.

The police said the gang had stolen more than 20 motorcycles in the area as the suspects operate during the early hour of the day and late at night while they recovered two pistols and 25 live cartridges from the gang. The suspects are said to pretend to be passengers.

Then they lure the commercial motorcyclists to a secluded area where other gang members would swoop on the commercial motorcyclists to dispossess them of cash and other valuables.

Olademeji, however, blamed bad friends for his involvement in crime He said, “As the second son, my father took good care of me but I dropped out of school in Junior Secondary School 2. “I later attended a technical college but joined a cult group while in school. I was going out with them to rob and that was where the idea of snatching and reselling motorcycles came.

“I formed my own gang in 2014 when I came back from college. I bought the guns from my cult friends. I belonged to the Eiye confraternity. We went for robberies like twice a week. We have snatched about 30 motorcycles from riders. “We had a buyer, who we simply called Mallam. He bought most of the bikes at prices ranging from N30, 000 to N70,000.

He would usually resell them too. I was arrested by the police in a hideout in Ishawo after they had first apprehended Emmanuel. My father does not know I am into robbery. Any time I did not come home, he would call me and advise me to change my ways but I never listened.

I was just stubborn.” Another suspect, Tiamiyu, 27 said., “I was an Indian hemp seller and had also served a jail term in Kirikiri, before I joined the gang .I was staying in the Itupate area of Ikorodu where I sold Indian hemp.

Deji Baale (Orisan) usually came to my joint to smoke and that was where I met him. He introduced me to the gang and I started going on robbery operations with them. “Before joining the gang, I had spent two years at the Kirikiri Medium Prisons from 2009 to 2011. I went with this gang on three occasions, and we also used my place as a hideout.”

Between Joslyn Dumas And Teebillz

There is a verbal war between Tiwa Savage’s husband, Tunji Balogun, also known as Teebillz and Ghanaian actress, Joselyn Dumas.

Asides being Tiwa’s husband, Teebillz also is a music promoter and a record label owner.

The ruckus started when Teebilliz refered to actress Joselyn Dumas and her management team, ‘Restless Talent’, as “lacking basic understanding of branding.”

Joselyn’s camp quickly responded to Teebillz’ statement as hilarious, hinting that Teebiliz had wanted to use Joselyn’s image to promote a ‘useless and silly’ song. The TV star’s management said TeeBillz was unknown to them before now and they were shocked with his post. A representative of Restless Management, Inya Lawal, said, “Last week, we noticed that photos of Joselyn were altered and being used to promote a song by TeeBillz.

“Those photos were used without permission, we didn't know about it, so we contacted him, wrote him officially to take it down. He had no intentions of taking the photos down until we contacted him. So we said to him, write us properly to ask for permission to use those photos and then send us the song so we know what the song says because he said his artiste was inspired by Joselyn.

“So we were waiting to hear a song of inspiration, but when he sent the song, the lyrics of the song were basically about Joselyn’s body and how he'll give her money and she'll give him her body, so we said to him that we can’t associate our brand with those kinds of useless and silly lyrics. So we said to him, we are sorry, we can't do that and he apologised.

It’s also our style to announce any new deal we sign one month after the deal. We signed Joselyn one month ago and we just announced it this week, it’s the same thing we've done for others like OC Ukeje, Nse Ikpe Etim and others, so I really don't understand what he’s talking about when he said he'll teach us about branding. We never even knew who he was until this whole thing happened,” Lawal said.

9ice Gets First Test As Special Adviser

Politics might not be one of the places where Abolore Akande is popular, however entertainment definitely is.

Having lost in his bid to represent Ogbomosho North/South/Orire at the House of Representatives 9ice went underground returning when he was allegedly named Special Assistant to the Oyo State Governor Abiola Ajimobi.

9ice has since gone to work following his ‘appointment’, as he was one of the brains behind the ‘Thank You’ concert thrown by the Oyo State Governor to celebrate his supporters in the state.

An elated 9ice was all smiles, as he performed on stage during the show leaving a lot of people thinking maybe he would have just remained in the profession that made  him famous.

The Alapomeji Record artiste lost the All Progressive Congress (APC) primaries to Prince Akeem Oyewunmi.

5 Burnt Beyond Recognition In An Accident On Lagos-Ibadan Expressway

A head-on-collision between two trailers along Mowe/Ibafo axis of the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway on Wednesday caused the deaths of five people who were burnt beyond recognition.

The accident occurred few kilometres away from the popular Danco filling station along the axis in the Obafemi Owode local government area of Ogun State.

A trailer had reportedly broken down by the roadside, leading to serious traffic congestion along the axis. A tanker loaded with petrol drove against the traffic enroute Sagamu, its driver trying to maneuver his way through the traffic jam around the area. The tanker eventually collided with another trailer laden with granite enroute Lagos from Abeokuta.

The resulting inferno led to the death of five people believed to be occupants of the trailers. Officers of the corps were on ground immediately to manage the traffic situation around the area. The corpses have been deposited at a Sagamu morgue.

Lagos Ibadan expressway is a notoriously dangerous expressway due to the high rate of accidents on the road which is mostly caused by the bad road which is already under reconstruction.

The expressway used to field 4 lanes but it is now being reconstructed to accommodate 6 lanes. Construction on the road has been on-going for close to 5 years now.

Bruce Jenner:"I Consider Myself A Woman"

65-year-old Olympian-turned-reality star Bruce Jenner sat down with Diane Sawyer Friday night and revealed "for all intents and purposes, I am a woman."

Below are quotes from the interview.

Jenner has always felt like a woman:

"I've always been very confused with my gender identity since I was little."

"I explain it this way -- God is looking down making little Bruce. He gave me all these wonderful qualities. Then at the end, he looked at me and said, 'Hey, let's give him the soul of a female and see how he deals with that.'"

"I was a lonely little boy. I'm a lonely big boy. I don't socialize a lot. I never fit in. I like to play golf, but 99% of the time I play by myself."

"My brain is much more female than I am male. But that's what my soul is." "My heart and my soul and everything I do in life is part of me. That female side of me is who I am. "I was trying to block out my feelings with the obsession to be an Olympic athlete."

"Yes, for all intents and purposes I am a woman." "Being Bruce isn't easy... it's never going away."
"This is not a publicity stunt."

Coming to terms:

His first wife, Christy, was the first person he told his secret to.  Jenner told his sister, who kept the secret for over 30 years.  Approaching age 40, 30 years ago, he began to transition and did hormones for "almost five years."  "I just can't pull the curtain any longer...I can't do it anymore."He said.

Jenner's family's reactions:

"I've raised wonderful children. The first child I ever told was Kimberly. She caught me one time. It was like this big secret in the family that we never talked about again until years later." A few months ago Jenner called the family into a room and told them he wanted to transition. The reactions were varied, because the kids are all very protective.

"Khloe has had the toughest time with it, she's had a lot of loss in her life." Kim Kardashian said Kanye was the one who opened her eyes to people being "true to myself." "Kimberly has been, by far, the most accepting and easiest to talk to about it." "If he's happy, we're happy," Kendall and Kylie Jenner said in a statement to ABC.

Son Brandon told Diane Sawyer of Bruce Jenner: "I'm honored and more proud than ever to be a part of this family." "I told my mom she didn't cause this." Jenner's mother is proud and supportive.

Why Jenner decided to finally come out to the world:

"I look at it this way -- Bruce is telling a lie. I can't do that any longer." This is the last interview he's going to do as "Bruce." He hopes to reemerge as the person he calls "her."

"Why is this so hard to say? I don't want to disappoint people." "I really believe we're going to make a difference in this world from what we're doing (the interview)."  "I had a feeling in church that maybe this is why God put me on this earth, to deal with this issue."

Jenner on his sexuality and past relationships:

"I was never attracted to guys. I've always felt heterosexual. I am not gay. I've never been with a guy. I've always been with a woman, raising kids."

"Sexuality is who you're attracted to, but gender identity is about who you identify with." "My gender was a big part of my break up" to Linda Thompson in 1984. "I wasn't as fair to my ex-wives as I should have been. I've apologized to everybody."

When he met Kris Jenner, he was on hormones and had size 36B breasts. "Kris is a good woman."
Kris Jenner had "no comment" on the Diane Sawyer interview, but Bruce's first two wives sent in well wishes."

Jenner's future:

"As of now I have all the male parts, but I still identify as female." "I would like to work with the [transgender] community to get this message out." Jenner chose not to reveal his new female name during the Diane Sawyer interview. Bruce says he is a Republican.

Tom Jones' "She's a Lady" is Jenner's current theme song. "There are certainly physical changes, but it's mainly mental." Regarding a sexual reassignment surgery: "Those are all things in the future for me to explore. No decisions have been made yet."

"Right now, let's just say I'm asexual." When Jenner dresses as a woman, he wants to "have nail polish on long enough for it to chip off." "I'm saying goodbye to people's perception of me and who I am. I'm not saying goodbye to me because this has always been me." "If this is the only problem I have in life, I've got it made."

Jenner urges people to "have an open mind and an open heart. I'm not a bad person, I'm just doing what I have to do." After the interview, Sawyer went out for dinner, off-camera, with Bruce Jenner in female clothing: "She looked great, and really happy."
