Enough Money For A $500 Tip Inside Amy Schumer’s Wallet


Amy Schumer has glamorous new life of upstaging Kimye on red carpets, but she can still look non-famous people in the eye and even treat them kindly.

The comedian left a $500 tip for a $49 meal, according to The New York Post, which is about a 1000% tip.

The manager of Peter's Clam Bar told The Huffington Post that Schumer ordered "a cup of soup and a couple of appetizers" during her evening at the Long Island restaurant.

70-Year-Old Proprietor Defiles Eight-Year-Old Pupil


A 70-year-old school proprietor, Mr Isaac Iniasek, has been arrested by policemen attached to Igbogbo Police Division in Ikorodu area of Lagos State for allegedly defiling an eight-year-old pupil in his school. 

It was gathered that after the school hour on that fateful day, Iniasek asked the girl (name withheld) to go into his office and tidy it up. It was in the process of doing that the suspect pounced on the girl, tore her pants and defiled her.

The incident happened at number 31, Eturenren Street, on the premises of the Brighter Glory School.

The victim’s aunt, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, said when the girl’s friend and her younger sister waited outside for a while, they went inside the proprietor’s office to check what was happening. According to her, they met Iniasek on top of the girl.

She said: “Immediately they entered the office, the proprietor ran out of his office, while the girl was bleeding profusely from her private part.

National Assembly Members To Get N9bn Jumbo Pay Next Week


The management of the National Assembly may have set aside about N9bn for the recently inaugurated lawmakers in both the upper and lower chambers of the federal parliament as allowances.

Investigations by our correspondent revealed that the jumbo pay, which will cover their accommodation, furniture and vehicle allowances, would be disbursed to them next week.

A senior management worker, who stated this on the condition of anonymity on Monday, explained that the N9bn represented 850 per cent of their basic salaries for four years.

He said, “A senator earns about N2m basic salary per month while the basic monthly salary of a member of the House of Representatives is about N1.8m.

“What the management usually do is to deduct upfront, 300 per cent as housing allowance, 300 per cent as vehicle allowance and 250 per cent as furniture allowance.

He added that when calculated, each senator would earn about N16.5m while a member of the House of Representatives would collect about N14.5 per cent each.

Adebayor Puts Troubles Behind Him For Visit To Hometown


Troubled Tottenham striker Emmanuel Adebayor was swamped by villagers as he returned to Togo in a bid to clear family problems which have plagued him.

Adebayor was granted permission to return to the country on compassionate grounds for a second time, and missed the final game of the Premier League season.

In a series of recent posts on social media, he explained that he had considered taking his own life due to complex family issues.

But despite his troubles, the 31-year-old was all smiles when he set foot in the village of Aneho, being greeted by a crowd of locals.

Wearing personalized tracksuit bottoms bearing his initials, and a t-shirt expressing a love for Togo, he smiled and waved to those who came to see his arrival.
