Mr Kabiru Aregbesola, the son of the Osun State Governor,
Alhaji Rauf Aregbesola was Tuesday afternoon caught at the departure wing of the
Muritala Muhammed Airport II, Lagos enroute UAE with undeclared sum of N178million
($912,820) cash stocked in his luggage.
Acccording to an eye witness who identified himself as Mr
Steven Adebola , Mr Kabuiru called his father who rushed down to handle the case before it gets out of hand while the environment
was brought to calm after some calls were made to the senior immigration
officers and finally the presence of Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola.
Mr Kabiru Aregbesola was involved in the failed scam
contract by Osun state government to supply local Computer Notebooks, nicknamed
Opon Imo valued at over N4Billion to schools in the state.
