The three weeks tournament supported by MicroManna Limited, Dynamic Sporting Solutions, Europroducts Limited, National Sports Commission (North West Zone), Alhaji Usman Ibrahim (Sardaunan Badarawa), Alhaji Murtala Dabo, Wadson Sports International and Bertsway Sports International among others was won by Makera All Stars Football Club.
Speaking when receiving the posthumous award, brother to the late legendary striker, Sharafadeen Yekini appreciated the Association for its kind gesture, noting that in spite of the limited recognition by the authorities and his fellow players, SWAN deemed it fit to honour the player years after his death.
